Do I need training?
If your business is conducted in the UK, training is required by law, with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 requiring the employer to provide adequate training for employees to ensure health and safety procedures are understood and adhered to, along with suitable provision of relevant information, instruction and supervision.
This is reinforced in the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, which state that employers have a duty to provide adequate and proportional health and safety training for employees. It also identifies situations where health & safety training is particularly important, e.g. when people start work, upon exposure to new or increased risks and where existing skills may have become rusty or need updating.
Like many employers, you may not be in a position to provide this training on your own, in which case you will need qualified, competent and experienced help...

Which course do you need?
Safety Awareness
This initial one day theory course is designed for anybody involved with high pressure water jetting.
Covering all of the core subjects for the safe use of high pressure water jetting equipment, it is required before any of the practical application courses are undertaken.
If taken alone, a "Non-Operational" qualification will be issued.
